Yvette Garcia "La Sole"

Personal Data: Born in Rota, Cadiz, Spain in 1978. Grew up in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cadiz, Spain. I return to Spain several times a year to continue performing and learning in the cities of Andalucia known as "la cuna del flamenco", the cradle of flamenco. Height: 5’4, Eyes: Hazel, Hair: Golden Brown.

Objective To promote Flamenco and the culture of Andalucia, Spain throughout the United States through dance classes, shows, lectures and other public appearances. To obtain a teaching position at a local University or community college as an instructor in the dance department.

§ Teach 15+ Flamenco & Classical Spanish dance classes a week.   

     [Beginning-Master]

§ Manage instructors at academy [scheduling, manage annual recital,

     advertising, payroll].

§ Artistic director and choreographer of "A Nuestro Aire" & I.A.A. Children’s

     dance company. I prepare those who wish to perform with public dance

     opportunities, strict rehearsal schedule, stage presence courses and other

     elements needed to make it in the dance field.
